Sketch Doon Heritage Village

There are lots of things to sketch at Doon Heritage Village: a train and the railway station, farms, barns, log cabins, a heritage fire station and fire engines, farm animals, a village store, a beautiful gazebo, the river, the smithy and lots of costumed staff.
Sketchers will meet at the train at 9:30 am and go from there.
This event is free and open to all ages and all skill levels.

44th International SketchCrawl

Meet in Waterloo Park at the concession stand near parking lot 1
PLEASE NOTE THIS DATE MAY CHANGE. CHECK BACK AFTER APRIL 19 TO CONFIRM.
KW Urban Sketchers will join hundreds of other urban sketcher groups world-wide for the 44th International Sketch-a-thon.
We will meet at the concession stand in Waterloo Park and go out sketching from there.
Sketching opportunities in Waterloo Park include the ducks and swans in the pond, the children in the splash park, picnickers, the log school house, the zoo, possibly a train, the tennis courts, or the formal garden with its arbor and benches, Uptown Waterloo is just a short walk away for sketchers who prefer more urban subjects.
All ages and skill levels welcome.

Sketch Elora & the Art in the Yard Exhibition

Meet at Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville Street, Elora
Elora is a charming village with lots of funky shops, a breathtaking gorge and crumbling but preserved stone buildings to admire. On this weekend Elora will also be hosting the Art in the Yard juried exhibition and sale. This exhibition will bring lots of visitors to the town plus live music and food to sample.
Sketchers will meet at the Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville Street. There is a parking lot attached to the park near the corner of Melville Street and East Mill Street.
This event is free and open to all ages and skill levels.
It is a 40 minute drive from Kitchener.
